ONE of the world’s fastest men, Asafa Powell will be at Sandown Park on Easter Thursday to witness a different kind of sprint.

With more sub-10 second 100m sprints than anyone on the planet, the Olympic, Commonwealth and World champ will be king of the kids at the club’s Easter Fun Kids Night.

The 30-year-old Jamaican is in Australia for the Australia Post Stawell Gift, aiming to become just the third man to win the famous event off ‘scratch’.

As well as the chance to meet one of the fastest men in history, kids can try and beat the bunny or become an owner for the day.

The free event will feature kids’ rides, a jumping castle, show bags, face painters and a barbecue.
